There's something truly magical that happens when you get a whole bunch of bears wet and parade them through the streets in a giant bath tub. (Pass me that soap!) We want to congratulate the boys of BearForest.com for winning 'Best Overall Float' at the 2009 Toronto Pride Parade!

Picture it: Provincetown, Massachusetts, July 2009. My partner and I left our home on Friday evening and drove for two hours to arrive at the Mecca of all Meccas when it comes to being a bear, cub, otter, chaser or really just gay in general. There we were, in the midst of all of the Beary goodness Provincetown had to offer, at BEAR WEEK 2009!

As we crossed the line separating P-Town from it's predecessor, Truro, we noticed the scent of the ocean in the breeze. Coming upon Commercial Street we knew we had arrived in heaven. We drove down the main drag, taking in all of the beautiful scenery and the pedestrian traffic, gay and straight. With musicians in front of town hall, the ferry arriving to our left, art displayed both left and right, we realized that this is OUR town.

Woof! My name is BRWN (pronounced "brown"), and I am a twenty-two year old gay guy living in the Asian country, Singapore. For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to men. The bigger, chunkier, meatier, furrier the better! I love dancing in clubs, but unfortunately we don't have a club that caters to bears. In Singapore we still have to look in the back of the bars in order to find the bears. Not only are we discriminated against in the world, but the gay community looks down on us as well. That really saddens me.
